Craig Porter is a Partner in the firm and has over 25 years experience in recovering compensation for people injured in accidents at work and on the road. He began his legal career working for nationally renowned personal injury solicitors and has been involved in ground breaking cases.

He set up Porter Wood Law with Chris Wood in 2019 to offer a bespoke partner led service to clients in the North of England and beyond. He is a tenacious litigator and regularly pursues claims to trial. He has had some notable successes including:-

£2 million recovered for a client injured in a farm accident involving the loss of a limb

£1 million for a pedestrian who suffered a significant leg injury.

He is regularly asked to review cases from clients disappointed with their existing solicitors and can quickly identify what needs to be done to successfully pursue the claim.

Outside work Craig is a keen runner, regularly taking part in half marathons and even the odd full marathon! He is a season ticket holder at Preston North End and a keen cyclist and motorcyclist when the Preston weather permits!
